Job description

This is an exciting time to join the HR team at Historic Royal Palaces. We have just embarked on a period of transformation within our team following the launch of a new structure to improve our own ways of working, enhance the employee experience and enable delivery of the organisational strategy.

The Senior HR Advisor (SHRA) is a new role which is key in the provision of a highly effective operational advisory service to leaders, managers and employees. The role leads the resolution of complex resourcing challenges and the more complex employee relations casework for the relevant client group including performance and capability, sickness absence management, disciplinary and grievance issues, flexible working requests and training and development support. The role will also contribute towards exciting and value-adding projects.

You’ll be an experienced HR Advisor who is up to date with employment law and has solid experience of case management and policy application with the ability to balance best practice and risk with a pragmatic and flexible approach. You will be experienced in influencing and working collaboratively with stakeholders to ensure support and solutions are aligned with organisational needs and culture. You will also be able to work at pace to get things done with accuracy and credibility. Line management experience is desirable.
