Job description
Overview

Location: Croydon (multi-site, South London). Salary: c£45K+ potential 10% bonus (based on personal and business performance). Contract: Permanent, full-time (open to 4 days per week). Benefits: Private medical, statutory auto-enrolment pension, 23 days holiday plus bank holidays.

Responsibilities
  • Advise and coach managers on employee relations, performance, and development matters
  • Lead recruitment and onboarding, including assessment centres and staff induction
  • Maintain HR records and the Single Central Record
  • Support staff development and engagement initiatives
  • Ensure HR processes align with employment law and regulatory requirements
  • Provide practical compliance support for Ofsted inspections
  • Support creation and review of HR policies, with focus on practicality and business need
About You
  • Minimum 8 years\' HR experience, including advisory or managerial responsibility
  • Experience in regulated environments (care sector experience beneficial but not essential)
  • Strong skills in employee relations, coaching, and stakeholder management
  • Confident handling confidential information and sensitive issues
  • CIPD Level 5 desirable
Working Arrangements

First month: full-time onsite across all three homes (within 25 minutes of each other).

Ongoing: hybrid working, 2-3 days per week onsite, with flexibility depending on business needs.
