Job Title: Senior HR Advisor

About the Role

VANRATH is delighted to be working with our client in the search for a HR Advisor to operate across NI/ROI. You will support managers in their Lurgan, Monaghan, and Dublin sites with specialist advice on legislative, procedural, and policy matters.

Responsibilities

• Assist with HR and cross-departmental projects as required.
• Collaborate on projects to improve organisational culture and employee engagement.
• Develop and deliver training sessions aligned with legal requirements and business needs.
• Implement and support performance management systems, including the creation of employee development plans.
• Maintain and update company policies, ensuring compliance with changing legislation and industry standards.
• Manage the full employee life cycle processes.
• Produce and present HR KPIs to senior leadership, offering recommendations based on the data.
• Provide expert advice on employment relations matters (e.g., investigations, grievances, disciplinary actions) across Ireland.
• Support the organisation through change initiatives such as TUPE, restructuring, and talent management.

Candidate Profile

• CIPD Level 5 qualified or higher, or a minimum of 5 years HR Generalist experience.
• Understanding of HR legislation / Employment Law for both ROI and NI.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, capable of engaging all levels.
• Proactive, pragmatic, with sound judgment.
• Responsive problem solver and solution-focused.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships and drive accountability within management and the wider business.
• Proven experience advising on HR matters such as grievances, disciplinary actions, performance management, and absence.
• Full driving license and access to transport (mileage paid).
