Job description

A high-growth fintech firm is seeking a Senior HR Advisor to join its HR function during an exciting phase of expansion on an initial 9 month fixed-term contract. This is a key role within a collaborative and fast-paced environment, where you will act as a trusted advisor to employees and managers. You will be the first point of contact, providing HR guidance and coaching across the full employee lifecycle, including complex employee relations cases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice, coaching, and support to employees and line managers across a broad range of HR matters.
  • Manage complex employee relations cases, including grievances and disciplinaries, advising on UK employment law and best practice.
  • Support the continuous improvement of HR policies, processes, and systems to enhance efficiency and the overall employee experience.
  • Collaborate with People Partners and Centres of Expertise to deliver integrated HR solutions aligned with business objectives.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with employment legislation, GDPR requirements, and relevant regulatory obligations.
  • Support various HR projects.

About You:

  • Experience in a business-facing HR advisory role within financial services or a regulated environment.
  • Confident in handling a wide range of employee relations matters, with sound judgement and a solutions-focused approach.
  • In-depth knowledge of current UK employment law, HR policies, and best practices.
  • Highly organised, with the ability to prioritise competing demands in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusted relationships both remotely and in person.
