Bouygues Energies & Services (part of Equans) has a fantastic opportunity available for a Senior HR Administrator to join us in our Bristol office, reporting to our Head of HR.

Our Bristol office team are carrying out fantastic work to support the Hinkley Point C (HPC) new-build nuclear power plant Emergency Diesel Generators project, as well as the Sizewell C bid.

Job Purpose:

To provide effective and professional administration and HR support service to the business.

The Role:

  • Recruitment Administration: Manage payroll transactions, prepare new starter documents, support electronic pre-boarding, send offer packs, support staff vetting, obtain candidate employment references, maintain recruitment documentation library, and ensure Right to Work compliance.
  • Employment Changes: Coordinate employment changes across the project including actioning change forms on the HR-Payroll system and issuing change of employment letters.
  • Onboarding: Facilitate onboarding by setting up employees on onboarding system, sending welcome emails, managing new-starter paperwork, and coordinating with line managers and other support functions to ensure timely induction of hires.
  • Probation Process: Administer probationary process, issue probation pass letters, and manage probation data.
  • Leaver Process: Handle leaver administration, acknowledge leaver emails, process termination forms, and issue leaver letters.
  • Shared HR Inbox: Manage HR inbox, ensure timely responses, upload documents to HR-Payroll system, and redirect queries for policy understanding.
  • Other HR Duties: Address payroll and HR queries, maintain workforce data, provide advisory support, build template letters library, report absences, upload mail merge letters, and conduct data verification.
