First Point Group is seeking an experienced HPC Architecture Leader in Crawley, UK to drive architecture, strategy and development of next-generation HPC platforms. The role combines hands-on technical leadership with guiding high-density compute and storage solutions for demanding workloads.

You will own end-to-end HPC architecture, scale compute and storage, and improve performance, reliability, and cost of ownership while mentoring engineering teams across globally distributed groups.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in designing, implementing and scaling HPC compute/storage architectures.
• 3+ years leading HPC engineering teams with mentoring.
• Strong expertise in CPU/GPU architecture and memory subsystems.
• Proven ability to drive architecture decisions across stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Lead end-to-end architecture and design of large-scale HPC platforms.
• Design and optimise high-density compute infrastructure with CPUs/GPUs.
• Drive decisions across processors, memory, interconnects, storage and Linux HPC envs.
• Lead HPC benchmarking, monitoring, and optimisation initiatives.
• Develop roadmaps, standards, and scalable, cost-efficient platforms.
• Lead, mentor, and develop HPC engineering teams.
• Collaborate with global teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Manage risks and delivery priorities aligned to business objectives.
