Job Description:
  • Address homelessness and provide sustainable housing solutions within the community.
  • Manage a caseload of individuals and families at risk of homelessness or in temporary accommodation.
  • Conduct assessments to identify housing needs, vulnerabilities, and support requirements.
  • Develop and implement tailored housing plans to prevent homelessness.
  • Establish partnerships with local authorities, housing associations, charities, and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate support services with external agencies to maximize resources.
  • Provide guidance to colleagues on housing options, eligibility, and legal frameworks.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, assessments, and plans.
  • Generate reports to demonstrate the impact of homeless prevention efforts.
Requirements:
  • Experience in homelessness prevention and housing options.
  • Knowledge of housing policies, local authority procedures, and relevant legislation.
  • Leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
  • Enhanced DBS within the last 12 months or on the update service.
