Qualifications

• Extensive experience conducting HHSRS inspections.
• Proven track record of serving enforcement notices and taking formal legal action.
• Strong experience preparing prosecution cases and attending court or tribunal hearings.
• Demonstrable experience issuing CPNs.
• Excellent conflict management and stakeholder handling skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out detailed property inspections in line with HHSRS requirements.
• Prepare and issue enforcement notices under the Housing Act 2004.
• Develop comprehensive schedules of work.
• Lead on high-level enforcement action, including prosecutions and Civil Penalty Notices (CPNs).
• Prepare prosecution bundles and represent the authority as a witness in court and/or at First-tier Tribunal (FTT) hearings.
• Manage challenging situations with professionalism, demonstrating strong conflict resolution skills.
