Job summary

Wiltshire Council is seeking a Senior Area Surveyor to lead housing assets across Wiltshire. You will drive planned maintenance, major repairs, damp and mould investigations, and energy efficiency improvements, ensuring safe, sustainable homes.

You will oversee contracts and budgets, provide technical leadership to surveyors, and work with residents, contractors and stakeholders to improve asset performance and value for money. Hybrid working model applied.

Qualifications

• Experience in asset management, contract management and project delivery within housing or social housing.
• Strong knowledge of building defects, housing standards, damp and mould, HHSRS and compliance.
• Excellent report writing and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead planned maintenance programmes and major repairs.
• Oversee contracts and budgets from inception to completion.
• Provide technical leadership to Area Maintenance and Repairs Surveyors.
• Improve asset performance and value for money.
