MPA Recruitment is seeking a Senior Housekeeper with Catering Duties for a role in Antrim, based in a Children’s Home. You will deliver high-quality catering and domestic services as part of the Unit’s team, supporting a welcoming, safe environment and involving young people in appropriate tasks as part of their care plan.

The role offers pay per hour in the £12.71–£23.26 range, with shifts 8–4 or 9–5, Monday to Friday. Part-time considered; full training and development supported.

Aufgaben

• Plan meals and order supplies within the agreed budget.
• Prepare food and oversee the serving of meals.
• Check deliveries for quality, quantity, freshness and temperature.
• Manage stock rotation and maintain ordering, cleaning and temperature records.
• Maintain excellent food hygiene and health and safety standards.
• Clean the kitchen, food-storage areas, dining areas and equipment.
• Involve young people in meal planning, shopping and food preparation where appropriate.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout bedrooms, bathrooms, offices and communal areas.
• Clean floors, furniture, fittings, windows and sanitary areas.
• Change bedding and curtains and ensure bedrooms are cleaned regularly.
• Complete laundry and ironing duties, including distributing clothing, bedding and towels.
• Order cleaning products and maintain household supplies.
• Report maintenance issues and keep appropriate records.
• Encourage young people to participate in suitable household tasks.
• Help maintain the security of designated areas, including operating alarm systems where required.

Job Description

MPA are currently recruiting for a Senior Housekeeper with Catering Duties to join our team in Antrim.

This role will be based within a Children's Home, and you will work as part of the Unit’s team, providing high-quality catering and domestic services.

You will help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment while encouraging young people to participate in appropriate everyday tasks as part of their care plans.

General Duties

• Follow all health and safety procedures.
• Support the induction and training of junior staff.
• Complete any training required for the role.
• Able to work one weekend per month
