Job summary

Project Centre is seeking a Senior Highways Engineer in Brighton to take ownership of highway schemes from concept through delivery. You will work with multidisciplinary teams and senior engineers to produce high-quality, compliant solutions.

The role is hands-on with design, estimates, and proposals, requiring strong CAD and Civil 3D skills, and a proactive approach to learning and development within a hybrid office setting.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of highways or civil engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of highways engineering and DMRB standards.
• Chartered status desirable or working toward it.

Responsibilities

• Managing project tasks within budgets, timescales and quality standards.
• Developing highways and civil engineering schemes from concept to completion.
• Providing technical guidance to junior engineers and checking outputs.
