Job summary

Kier is seeking a Senior Highways and Drainage Engineer to join our team across multiple UK locations. The role involves leading temporary works design and delivery for major infrastructure projects within a diverse portfolio.

You will work on hundreds of projects with access to a large project pipeline, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safety, buildability and sustainability throughout concept to delivery.

Qualifications

• Must have practical grounding in highways and drainage engineering principles and relevant design standards.
• Incorporated Engineer (IEng) or working towards CEng status with equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Produce and review design outputs (calculations, sketches, drawings, 3D models) with CDM, SHE, EA compliance and QA processes.
• Act as Project Lead for multiple projects, manage technical scope, programme, budget and relationships across preconstruction and construction teams.
• Develop yourself and the wider team, driving continuous improvement of processes and systems to meet current and future challenges.
