  • Working towards Chartered status or with significant experience (minimum 10 years)
  • Leading multi-disciplinary projects to meet program, cost, and quality expectations
  • Extensive highways design and construction experience, including review of design software outputs
  • Commercial awareness in project delivery
  • Knowledge of Local Authority design standards and contracts
  • Developing and mentoring staff
  • Design resource planning and programme management
  • Managing Health & Safety in design and construction
  • Understanding of CDM regulations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Experience with NEC contracts and administration
  • Knowledge of highway design standards and guidance, including Design Manual for Roads and Bridges, Manual for Streets, LTN 1/20, TSRGD, MCDHW, etc.
  • Ability to compile specifications and Bills of Quantities
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD; Civil 3D experience advantageous
  • Full UK/EEC driving licence
