Job summary

Ringway is recruiting a Senior Supervisor to join our highways team on the Kent Highways contract. You will lead and develop Supervisors and Operatives, ensuring reactive and routine maintenance is delivered safely and efficiently across the region.

Reporting to the Area Manager, you will drive performance, monitor KPIs, and foster strong relationships with clients and stakeholders while promoting continuous improvement and high standards of service.

Qualifications

• Experience in highways maintenance or similar operational environment.
• Proven leadership with multi-level teams.
• Knowledge of reactive and routine maintenance delivery.
• Strong health, safety and compliance understanding.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Proactive, organized and solutions-focused.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage supervisors and operational teams across the contract.
• Oversee the delivery of reactive and planned maintenance works.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Monitor performance, productivity, and quality of works delivered.
• Support the Area Manager in achieving contract KPIs and objectives.
• Build strong working relationships with stakeholders and clients.
• Drive continuous improvement and operational efficiencies.
