Job summary

Morson Human Resources Limited is seeking an experienced Senior General Foreperson to lead a highways and earthworks team on a Coventry site. The role is site-based and requires coordinating day-to-day activities, subcontractors and safety compliance to deliver to programme.

You will work with the Site Management team, deputise when required and drive safe, efficient site operations while mentoring junior team members.

Qualifications

• Experience as General Foreman/Foreperson on highways projects.
• Strong earthworks and civil engineering delivery experience.
• Supervising site teams and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Supervise site activities, labour and subcontractors.
• Lead day-to-day highway and earthworks delivery.
• Ensure works meet safety standards and programme.
• Coordinate resources and provide required information to teams.
• Read drawings, specs and method statements.
• Maintain RAMS, permits and site records.
• Monitor progress and report to Site Management.
• Liaise with Site Agents, Engineers and suppliers.
