Semtech in Stansted, UK, is seeking a Principal Analog Design Engineer to lead the design and development of high-speed analog ICs from concept through volume production. You will set technical direction, architect circuits, and ensure designs meet product and customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics or related field.
• 15+ years’ experience in analog IC design in semiconductors.
• Deep CMOS/BiCMOS analog design practices.
• Proven technical lead on chip development projects.
• Strong RF analog design experience (10 GHz+).
• Expert Cadence design/simulation tool proficiency.
• RF/analog layout knowledge: parasitics, matching, ESD, crosstalk, IR drop.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.

Responsabilités

• Lead design and development of high-speed analog ICs meeting specs and timelines (40%).
• Own critical chip subsystems and act as technical lead across cross-functional teams (20%).
• Collaborate with Marketing, Product Definition, Test, Verification, Reliability and Product Engineering.
• Drive circuit design/architecture innovations to improve performance.
• Mentor and support junior engineers with technical guidance.
• Communicate complex concepts via reports and presentations to senior stakeholders.
