Due to continued expansion, we are seeking a HGV Workshop Senior Technician to join our Hull team.

Key Tasks
  • Overseeing Technicians, in charge of maintaining stock levels, managing workloads and scheduling quality and compliance documentation ensuring clear communication/team work.
  • Performing day-to-day vehicle/trailer repairs and inspections in the workshop and at other sites.
  • Undertaking the maintenance of equipment and ancillary equipment to manufacturers and company standards and procedures.
  • Ensuring all relevant administration and documentation are to the correct standard (service sheets, job cards, parts) working with the admin team.
  • Liaising with drivers and the traffic department to ensure all vehicle servicing, defects, and issues are addressed promptly.
  • Having a solid understanding of electrical systems, fleet management systems, and DVS compliance.
  • Being flexible in approach to the role as a whole.
  • Assisting in the improvement and development of the workshop operation.
  • Working and communicating effectively as part of a small team with all departments.
What We're Looking For
  • Fully qualified LGV workshop technician with the skills to progress within our company.
  • HGV Level 3 qualification minimum.
  • Knowledge of IT, fleet management, and diagnostic systems.
  • Welding and fabrication skills.
  • Flexible approach to the job overall.
  • HGV license.
Shift Pattern
  • Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm / 8:00 am to 6:00 pm on alternative shifts.
  • Job types: Permanent, full-time.
  • Good pay rate depending on experience.
  • Ongoing training for career development.
  • Weekend availability.
