Job summary

WSP Global Inc. in London seeks a Senior Consultant to lead archaeology fieldwork projects across southern England and support the heritage team’s growth.

You will combine high-level archaeological expertise with commercial awareness to deliver projects on time and within budget. Based in London, you will manage fieldwork planning, consent applications and bespoke strategies for developments and infrastructure, while maintaining strong client relationships and contributing to business

Qualifications

• Experience managing archaeology fieldwork projects.
• Knowledge of planning processes and heritage legislation.
• Strong writing and communication skills.
• Ability to develop client relationships and identify opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and supervise fieldwork subcontractors on-site and in technical reviews, including RAMS.
• Prepare competitive tenders and define scope/methodology for archaeological fieldwork.
• Produce or contribute to archaeological desk‑based assessment reports.
• Undertake stakeholder, curator and client liaison.
