Qualifications

• Strong Python skills with object-oriented programming.
• Strong quantitative, analytical or statistical modelling experience.
• Experience working with financial or investment data.
• Knowledge of financial markets, investment management or hedge funds.
• Experience across Data Strategy, Data Science, Data Analytics or Data Engineering.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop data strategies and operating models for hedge funds and investment management clients.
• Use Python and quantitative analysis to solve investment and commercial problems.
• Analyse large financial, market and portfolio datasets to extract insights.
• Support portfolio, investment and trading teams with data-driven recommendations.
• Develop models to assess profitability, performance and capital allocation.
• Improve investment platforms, data infrastructure and analytical capabilities.
• Apply AI, automation and advanced analytics to investment processes.
