The Post
This post offers a unique and exciting opportunity to gain knowledge and develop skills with a broad range of patients and gain new skills in acute medical and surgical nursing. The successful candidate will work with a multi-professional team to ensure a high standard of care and support is given to a defined patient group within Inpatients 1.
The Candidate
It would be excepted the candidate will have previous health and social care experience. It would also be expected that the successful candidate will possess a SVQ3 qualification as well as the ability to demonstrate a range of core skills to competently undertake patient care and other tasks and activities.

This post will be based at The Balfour
The successful candidate will work: Part Time Various
This post is on a Permanent Basis
It is a condition of this employment that you must live and remain a resident within the UK for the post in which you will be employed with NHS Orkney.

The salary for this post is on a Band 3 £26,869 - £28,998 and if residing on Orkney, you’ll also receive a Distant Islands Allowance of £1,587 pro rata per year, adding extra value to your rewarding career with us.
