Within NHS Tayside, we are expanding opportunities for Healthcare Support Workers to develop and progress into the role of an Assistant Practitioner. These roles are new, exciting, and supported by education and training from the NHS Tayside Practice Development Team and Dundee College. Successful applicants will be supported to complete a Professional Development Award SCQF level 8 at Dundee College. The training period lasts approximately 1 year.
Your initial induction will be followed by professional development opportunities, including clinical skills and online learning via our comprehensive hub.
You will need to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and adhere to the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.
