Job summary

York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust on Holly Ward seeks dynamic Healthcare Support Worker to assist with pre and post operative care in orthopaedic surgery. You will support frail/elderly patients with personal care and rehabilitation, and cover a mix of shifts including nights, weekends and Bank Holidays.

Do you have the care, compassion and skills to be part of a team making our patients' stay and experience as comfortable as possible? Then this could be the role for you! We are seeking dynamic individuals who are passionate about patient care to join our Acute Trauma and Orthopaedic Ward. On Holly Ward, we provide pre and post operative care for patients requiring orthopaedic surgery. Patients are often frail/elderly and require assistance with all aspects of personal care and rehabilitation. As a Healthcare Support Worker, you will be expected to work a combination of shifts including nights, weekends and Bank Holidays:

• Early - 07:15-15:15
• Late - 12:15 - 20:15
• Long Day - 07:15 - 20:15
• Night - 20:00 - 07:30

Interviews for this position will be held in person ONLY. Remote interviews will not be available.

The job description outlines the primary role and responsibilities of a Senior Health Care Support Worker.
