Job summary

York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust on Holly Ward seeks dynamic Healthcare Support Worker to assist with pre and post operative care in orthopaedic surgery. You will support frail/elderly patients with personal care and rehabilitation, and cover a mix of shifts including nights, weekends and Bank Holidays.

Qualifications

• Courteous, sympathetic and compassionate approach to patients, relatives and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients on the Acute Trauma and Orthopaedic Ward, including personal care and rehabilitation support.
• Be flexible to cover other clinical areas as required due to service demand.
