Job Description: Senior Healthcare Assistant (Senior HCA) - Residential Home

Location: Grimsby Salary: £12.30 per hour Hours: 36 hours (1 week), 40 hours (2nd week), 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM Position: Senior Healthcare Assistant - Days

Overview: We are seeking a Senior Healthcare Assistant (Senior HCA) to provide high-quality care to residents in our Residential Home in Grimsby. The ideal candidate will have senior healthcare experience, medication training, and a passion for improving residents' lives.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide personal, emotional, and medical support to residents.
  2. Lead and supervise healthcare assistants, ensuring top care standards.
  3. Administer medication and maintain accurate records.
  4. Review care plans and assist residents in daily activities.
  5. Promote resident independence and encourage social engagement.
  6. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and CQC guidelines.

Key Requirements
  1. NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care.
  2. Medication trained with experience in medication administration.
  3. Previous senior healthcare experience.
  4. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
