We're currently looking for an experienced Healthcare assistant to join our busy Cardiology and General medicine ward.

You'll be part of a supportive, values - led team committed to delivering safe, high quality care. We welcome individuals who are hard working, kind and eager to learn.

Applications are welcome from individuals who may not meet all of the desired experience criteria. In such cases, candidates may be appointed to a band 2 position, with the opportunity for progression upon sucessful completion of additional skills training,

Education and Qualification
  • Good general standard of education in Mathematics and English at GCSE level or equivalent to Level 1 Literacy and Numeracy
  • Care certificate or equivalent
  • Relevent course to role (eg: NVQ level 2)
Experience and Knowledge
  • Current or recent acute hospital HCA experience
  • Experience of high pressure healthcare environment
  • Experience of working as part of a team
