Affinity Staff is seeking experienced and proactive Senior Healthcare Assistants to lead care shifts and uphold high clinical standards at a Chelmsford care facility. This temporary opportunity offers strong pay rates, flexible scheduling, and agency support.

Ideal candidates will have at least 12 months in a UK care setting with supervisory experience, NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care, and a Certificate in Safe Administration of Medication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months of experience in a UK care setting with supervisory responsibilities.
• NVQ Level 3 Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
• Certificate in Safe Administration of Medication.
• Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service or willing to obtain one.
• Full Right to Work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise care teams on shift to ensure high-quality care.
• Administer medications accurately according to care plans and standards.
• Update care plans, perform risk assessments, and log incidents.
• Liaise with visiting healthcare professionals, multidisciplinary teams and families.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and escalate clinical concerns as needed.
