What to expect in this role

Our carers play a vital role in the lives of our residents and their families. You will support the daily activities of residents, promote their dignity, independence, and well-being, and become an integral part of their lives. Senior carers also supervise teams of care assistants and update personalised care plans.

20 hours per week

What we expect of you
  • Minimum qualifications: Level 3 in Health and Social Care
  • Experience and knowledge of medication administration
  • Support residents to reach their full potential and ensure their well-being
  • Promote good working practices, perform duties competently, and follow company policies to ensure safety
  • Handle accidents effectively and follow reporting procedures
  • Attend staff meetings and participate in training
  • Demonstrate excellent time management, problem solving, organisational, and prioritisation skills
  • Communicate effectively (verbal and written) with confidence and maintain confidentiality
  • Possess a service-oriented mindset and flexible, proactive approach
  • Exhibit strong judgment and decision-making skills
  • Show energy, enthusiasm, and confidence to take initiative
