Job summary

Derbyshire Community Health Services NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting Health Visitors to develop as Practice Educators. You will teach, supervise and guide staff and students in 0-19 services, ensuring high quality learning and professional standards across the Trust.

The role supports sharing best practices, safeguarding, and applying national and local public health priorities within the 0-19 service, with travel across Derbyshire as required.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse or midwife with public health experience.
• Specialist Health Visiting qualification or equivalent.
• Recent post-registration professional learning evidence.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership across Derbyshire health visiting and children’s services.
• Support development, education and supervision of staff and students.
• Embed evidence-based practice and respond to policy and audits.
