Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a Senior SHEQ Advisor role.
• Strong understanding of ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001 standards.

VANRATH are assisting in the recruitment of a Senior Health & Safety Officer for a large Construction company. The organisation has had constant growth, and is very modernised and the successful candidate would join a part-of-the-future organisation.

Office is based in Omagh - Monday to Friday - This is a Permanent position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure all Health & Safety, Environmental rules and regulations are regularly reviewed, updated and communicated to ensure the company remains compliant and adapts in a timely fashion to necessary changes.
• Support and implement new work processes to eliminate or reduce hazards throughout the business.
• Manage the effective allocation of SHEQ Team resources to fulfil requirements on each project/site.
• Manage our CDM responsibilities in accordance with current regulations.
• Liaise with Clients and your respective counterparts across the business to gain understanding on delivery expectations and agreement on SHEQ matters for each project.
• Assist with tender documentation to ensure SHEQ submission.
• Assist in the continuous development of company systems and procedures in relation to Company/Site Safety standards and Environmental compliance to deliver and excel on SHEQ Management System compliance with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001/2015 standards.

The Ideal Person:

• Minimum of 3 years demonstrable relevant experience in a similar Senior SHEQ Advisor role.
• Minimum Cert IOSH Member.
• Internal Auditor or strong exposure to and understanding of implementation of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 and 9001.
• Sound IT skills and strong experience in Microsoft packages especially Word & Excel.
