Job summary

CO Home Improvements is seeking an experienced Health & Safety Manager to provide practical health and safety support across multiple locations in the North West, with occasional travel to Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. You will develop H&S policies, conduct risk assessments, audits, and support CDM Regulations 2015 and Building Safety Act 2022 compliance.

Deliver training, investigate incidents, and drive continuous safety improvements across the business.

Qualifications

• Essential NEBOSH General Certificate in health and safety.
• Desirable NEBOSH Construction knowledge or qualification.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain H&S policies, procedures and safe systems of work.
• Carry out risk assessments, site inspections and audits.
• Support compliance with CDM Regulations 2015 and Building Safety Act 2022.
• Prepare CDM documentation, RAMS and COSHH assessments.
• Deliver H&S training, inductions and toolbox talks.
• Investigate incidents and ensure corrective actions.
• Support RIDDOR reporting and H&S record-keeping.
• Assist with accreditations such as CHAS and ISO 9001.
