Senior Health & Safety Manager - Leasehold Management

18Recruitment are working with a leading Leasehold Managing Agent to recruit a highly experienced Senior Health & Safety Manager - Leasehold Management. Must have a minimum of 7 years working within Block and Estate Management at Senior level as a Health & Safety officer or Building Safety Case Manager. This role entails ensuring the safety and compliance of all systems, structures, and operations within a portfolio of High-Rise Buildings.

This role entails maintaining the building safety case, closely monitoring safety protocols, conducting building inspections, auditing documentation, and ensuring compliance with local regulations and evolving building safety legislation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Ongoing management of all aspects of the Building Safety Case, including:
2. Maintain detailed records of any incidents, inspections, mandatory occurrence reports, and subsequent actions.
3. Review content of all key building safety documents on production, challenging recommendations where necessary.
4. Periodic document audits.
5. Carry out regular building inspections to ensure adherence to regulations, recommendations, and company policies and effective maintenance programmes.
6. Key interface with the Regulator, providing any feedback or information required.
7. Prepare and submit all required documentation to the Regulator upon request.
8. Finance and procurement management.
9. Regular and effective reporting to the Client on the status and compliance of the building.
10. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current building safety legislation in England and Wales.

Experience

1. Leasehold experience.
2. Strong understanding of building safety legislation.
3. Comprehensive Health & Safety and Fire Risk experience.
4. Fire Door Inspection experience.
5. Experience in property management / Asset management / health and safety or related field.
6. IRPM / NEBOSH or similar related qualification desirable.

Requirements

1. Must have a minimum of 7 years working within Block and Estate Management at Senior level as a Health & Safety officer or Building Safety Case Manager.
2. Must hold min ATPI/IRPM or Assoc RICS / IOSH or NEBOSH.

Salary

£65,000 to £75,000 (DOE)
