Are you an experienced health & safety professional with strong knowledge of utilities, energy, power, or civil engineering and seeking a new position? We have multiple openings across the Buckinghamshire and Berkshire region. We are currently working with a large civil engineering/utility-focused company to grow their team in this area. The ideal candidate will have over 3 years of experience in health & safety.

Responsibilities of the Senior Health & Safety Advisor include:

• Be a driven and enthusiastic individual passionate about health & safety
• Collaborate with a team across multiple sites in Buckinghamshire/Berkshire
• Support the creation of a positive health & safety culture
• Serve as the point of contact for internal and external contractors regarding health & safety advice
• Lead accident investigations and near-miss analyses to identify root causes and implement improvements
• Conduct risk assessments and prepare method statements for sites as needed
• Promote a proactive health & safety culture within the organization

Qualifications and experience required:

• At least 3 years of experience in health & safety
• Experience in utilities, energy, power, or civil engineering sectors
• NEBOSH certification and IOSH membership
• Valid driving license
• Site experience in construction or civil engineering industries
• Willingness to travel, with a hybrid work arrangement
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
