Job summary

INFORM3 Recruitment is seeking an experienced Health & Safety Advisor to join an established construction team in Belfast. This hands-on role supports project teams, site management and subcontractors to maintain high safety standards across ongoing projects.

The successful candidate will provide professional H&S guidance, conduct site inspections, review RAMS and construction phase plans, and deliver inductions and toolbox talks while ensuring compliance with UK H&S legislation and CDM

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a Health & Safety role, ideally within construction or civil engineering.
• NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent H&S qualification.
• Strong knowledge of UK H&S legislation and CDM Regulations.
• Experience conducting site inspections, audits and reviewing RAMS.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Confident working with site teams, subcontractors and management.
• Full UK driving licence.
• IOSH membership and/or additional construction H&S qualifications desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional H&S advice to site and project teams.
• Carry out regular site inspections, audits and compliance checks.
• Review and monitor RAMS, risk assessments and construction phase plans.
• Ensure compliance with relevant H&S legislation and CDM requirements.
• Assist with incident/accident investigations and corrective actions.
• Deliver inductions, toolbox talks and H&S training.
• Monitor subcontractor compliance and documentation.
• Identify hazards and work with site teams to implement effective control measures.
• Maintain accurate H&S records, reports and documentation.
• Promote a strong and proactive safety culture across projects.
