Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly personable, organised, and proactive Senior Health and Safety Advisor to join the Health and Safety team. Based in our London office, you will visit sites weekly and work closely with our HSE Lead to develop policies and procedures.

As a Senior Health and Safety Advisor at Reds10, you will be a key member of the team, supporting and promoting the improvement of the company’s safety and environmental culture, policies, procedures, systems, and practices. You will ensure compliance with all relevant safety and environmental regulations, drive a proactive behavioural safety culture, and provide a safe and healthy working environment for all employees.

Responsibilities as a Health and Safety Advisor at Reds10:

1. Carry out inspections, risk assessments, and develop Safe Systems of Work, advising managers and leaders and ensuring implementation.
2. Undertake effective and timely accident and incident investigations and reporting.
3. Ensure compliance in production, delivery, and operational practices with relevant HSEW standards, policies, procedures, processes, systems, and regulations.
4. Ensure equipment is installed, maintained, and used correctly and safely, identifying hazards and informing managers and leaders to mitigate risks.
5. Ensure the welfare of all staff and visitors.
6. Engage and liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to share best practices regarding HSEW policies and procedures.
7. Perform regular audits with site and office teams.
8. Liaise with external health and safety authorities, representatives, and trade unions, keeping up to date with legislation.

Qualifications and Skills:

1. A minimum of NEBOSH National Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety.
2. NEBOSH General or Construction certification.
3. CSCS card.
4. Pragmatic approach to applying HSEW regulations, policies, and procedures.
5. Ability to present to an audience.
6. IT proficiency.
7. Temporary Works awareness.
8. First Aid certification.
9. Fire Marshall certification.

Note: This role involves travel across the South of England and occasional visits to our manufacturing facility in East Yorkshire. Security clearance is required for this role.
