Working as a Senior Healthcare Support Worker in a ward / department within the hospital setting. Carry out assigned tasks involved with direct patient care whilst maintaining the privacy and dignity of patients. Demonstrate excellent care, compassion and communication, and work in support of and supervised by a Registered Nurse/Midwife or Nursing Associate, incorporating:
The role is varied, equally challenging and rewarding, and provides the opportunity to make a difference to the patient experience. The main duties are to assist clinical staff to run patient investigation sessions smoothly and help with the delivery of holistic patient care, supporting the physiology staff and ensuring patients are comfortable during investigations and before/after investigations.
