Key Responsibilities:
* Direct Patient Care: Assisting with personal care tasks like bathing, dressing, and toileting, as well as supporting with meals and mobility.
* Supervision of Staff: Overseeing and supporting junior healthcare assistants or care staff.
* Care Planning: Contributing to the development and implementation of care plans.
* Medication Management: Administering and recording medications (following appropriate training and protocols).
* Monitoring and Reporting: Observing and reporting changes in patients' conditions, including vital signs.
* Communication: Maintaining effective communication with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
* Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records.
* Promoting Independence: Supporting patients to maintain their independence and dignity.
Positions available:
We are currently recruiting for three dedicated and compassionate Senior Care Assistants to join our team at a well-established care home in Wrexham.
* 1 x Day shift worker £13.42 hr
* 2 x Night shift worker £14.42 hr
Dure to its location candidates MUST have access to their own vehicle as public transport cannot be relied upon.
Qualifications required:
* NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care (minimum) Ideally Level 3.
* Experience in a Senior care or supervisory role preferred.
* Ability to lead by example and ensure high standards of care.
* Proof of right to work in the UK
* Proof of National Insurance
* Able to work 12hr shifts and a minimum 36hr per week throughout the year.
