A prominent healthcare organization in Wales is seeking a dedicated District Nurse to support the district nursing service. The role involves direct patient care, maintaining documentation, and potentially rotating onto night shifts. Ideal candidates will be working towards NVQ Level III, possess organizational skills, and ideally speak Welsh. This role offers a salary between £25,313 and £26,999 per annum, pro rata.

An opportunity has occurred to join the highly motivated District Nursing Service in the Dwyfor and Meirionnydd Localities. The role will involve the successful candidate supporting the district nursing service with the Eifionydd District Nursing team and also the Out of Hours team to care for those living in the community who require nursing care. The role will also involve rotation onto night shifts as per rota. The post requires the successful candidate to have obtained or be working towards their NVQ Level III.
Applicants should be enthusiastic with an awareness of and committed to the modernisation of the service. They should be able to work well within a team and also alone.
You must be able to travel between patients homes both within towns and rural areas in a timely manner and Welsh speaking is desirable.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
