Job Description for Care Assistant

Join our team at Baugh House Care Centre, located near Sidcup High Street. Our centre offers a warm, homely environment with both residential and nursing care for residents of all ages. We are committed to providing high-quality care with a focus on compassion, safety, and individual needs.

Working Hours: 22 hours per week

  • Be flexible with working arrangements, including alternate weekends.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Support residents with daily living activities to ensure high standards of care.
  • Assist in training and supervising junior staff members.
  • Respond to the Nurse Call system, answer the door and phone, and pass messages promptly.
  • Monitor residents' well-being and liaise with GPs and support managers.
  • Conduct regular checks on residents as directed by senior staff.
  • Provide personal and psychological care, including medication administration, toileting, and bathing, in a professional manner.
  • Complete necessary records accurately and within specified timeframes, including changeover and Keyworker documentation.
