Exemplar Health Care's Wytham Lodge care home in Burnley is seeking a Senior Health Care Assistant to lead a small care team and work closely with the Nurse in Charge to deliver high‑quality care to residents. You will support personal care, assist at mealtimes, manage documentation, and help residents stay independent and engaged.

The role requires a Level 3 Health and Social Care qualification, GCSEs, and a calm, compassionate approach.

Qualifications

Level 3 Health and Social Care qualification required.
GCSE Maths and English at grade C or above required.

Contract type: Full Time- 36 hours per week minimum- Including weekends

About The Role

Our Senior Health Care Assistants work closely with the Nurse in Charge and lead our Care Teams in supporting every aspect of our residents’ day-to-day lives.

No two days will ever be the same, but your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

understanding individual health and wellbeing needs
encouraging and supporting people to take part in social activities, both in and out of the home
promoting choice, dignity, independence and respect
