Are you looking for an exciting opportunity? We are invitingapplications for an experienced band 3 Health Care Support Worker to join the CalderdaleLearning Disabilities Nursing Team. Theteam is a multi-disciplinary team that provides specialisthealth support to both individuals, and their wider support networks. Theadministrative base is in the vibrant town of Hebden Bridge.
The team is multi-disciplinary and provides specialisthealth support to both individuals, and their wider support networks. The teamworks agilely and covers the Calderdale locality. The work is varied and willgive the right candidate the chance to develop a range of skills workingalongside team colleagues in IST, occupational therapy, speech & languagetherapy, physiotherapy, psychology, psychiatry and admin.
An interest andor/experience in working creatively with people with a learning disabilityand/or Autism Spectrum would be an advantage.
You will need to be a car driver and have the use of a vehicle toundertake any necessary travel in connection with the duties given thegeographical area.

This is anopportunity to work in a community team supporting the nurses and wider team todeliver evidence based clinical nursing support by supporting the assessmentand information gathering and implementation of care plans.
Clinicalnursing team support aims to assess and meet the varying needs of individualswith a learning disability. This results in improving health status andreducing the health inequalities. The postholder also holds a key role insupporting health promotion to ensure a health preventative approach wherepossible.

Visa sponsorship under the Health and Care Worker visa route canonly be considered if the prorated salary meets the minimum threshold of£25,000, as required by the UK Visas and Immigration. For Band 3 roles, onlyfull-time positions at the top of the pay scale meet this threshold. Therefore,sponsorship may not be possible depending on salary increment placement andworking hours.
