An exciting opportunity has become available for Health and Social Care Support Workers to join the Care at Home Team in Lochaber. The post holder will support care to promote self-care, enabling clients to remain in their own homes. The service aims to include reablement/rehabilitation to help patients avoid hospital admission or return home sooner, supporting independent living.
Applicants must adhere to NHS Highland policies and procedures, including confidentiality standards. They should demonstrate willingness for professional development, including completing SVQ health and social care level 3 to register with the SSSC.
This role involves working within a rota system, including flexible, unsociable hours, and weekends. Flexibility to work throughout the Lochaber region is required. A current UK driving license and own car are essential.
