Our client is a leading industrial main contractor with an impressive track record delivering high–value projects ranging from 10m to 350m. With a strong presence across the Midlands and a commitment to excellence in construction and safety, they are seeking a Senior Health and Safety Manager to oversee multiple sites from their Birmingham base, including occasional national travel.

Senior Health and Safety Manager Roles and Responsibilities
Lead the development and implementation of health and safety strategies across industrial construction projects.
Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with legal requirements and company policies.
Provide expert advice, training, and support to project teams to promote a strong safety culture.
Investigate incidents and near–misses, preparing detailed reports and recommendations.
Liaise with external stakeholders including HSE, clients, and subcontractors to maintain best practice standards.
Monitor and analyse safety performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.

Senior Health and Safety Manager Requirements
Chartered Membership of IOSH (CMIOSH) is essential.
Proven experience in a senior health and safety role within the construction or industrial sector.
Strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation and its practical application on high–value sites.
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Willingness to travel to various sites across the Midlands and occasionally nationwide.
NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification preferred.
