Job summary

Red Sky Personnel Ltd is seeking an experienced Senior Health & Safety Advisor to support the Head of Health & Safety across a portfolio of major civil engineering and infrastructure projects. The role will be predominantly office-based in Swindon, with travel to project sites as required.

You will provide practical health and safety guidance to project and operational teams, undertake site inspections and audits, support policy implementation, investigate incidents and help drive continuous

• NEBOSH qualification or equivalent is required.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites.
• Experience in civil engineering or major infrastructure sectors.
• Ability to communicate clearly with project teams at all levels.

Senior Health & Safety Advisor: Major Infrastructure

We are looking for an experienced Senior Health & Safety Advisor to support the Head of Health & Safety across a portfolio of major civil engineering and infrastructure projects.

The role will be predominantly office-based in Swindon, with travel to project sites as required.

The Role

• Support the Head of Health & Safety across major infrastructure projects
• Provide practical health and safety advice and guidance to project and operational teams
• Undertake site inspections, audits and assurance activities
• Support the implementation of H&S policies, procedures and management systems
• Assist with incident investigations and ensure appropriate actions are implemented
• Monitor H&S performance and support continuous improvement
• Produce reports and maintain accurate H&S documentation
• Work collaboratively with project teams, senior management and other stakeholders

Experience Required

• Previous experience as a Health & Safety Advisor or Senior Health & Safety Advisor within civil engineering or major infrastructure
• Strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation and construction industry requirements
• Experience carrying out site inspections, audits and incident investigations
• Confident working with project and operational teams at all levels
• Strong communication and reporting skills
• NEBOSH qualification or equivalent
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites

• GBP62,000 GBP65,000 salary
