Job summary

PA Consulting in Melbourn, United Kingdom is seeking a Lead hardware design engineer with a broad skill set to develop electronic products from concept to delivery. You will work closely with clients and PA teams across consumer, defence and health sectors.

The role requires expertise in analogue and digital design, embedded software, and system architectures, plus a solid grasp of regulatory standards. You will mentor junior engineers and contribute to multi-disciplinary projects within PA's

Qualifications

• Degree qualified – a good degree in electronic engineering or a related subject from a leading university.
• The ability to gain UK SC security clearance if not already acquired (requires sole UK nationality).

Responsibilities

• Develop electronic products from concept through to delivery across multiple sectors.
• Design system-level electronics and detailed hardware implementations.
• Collaborate with PA team and clients to define requirements and realise concepts.
• Support cross-functional teams across consumer, defence and health/life sciences sectors.
