Job summary

Parkdean Resorts is seeking a senior Lead Software Engineer to set technical direction, write and review production code, and line-manage Junior and Mid-Level Developers across 65 parks. You will work with C#, ASP.NET, React, Azure, and SQL Server, driving quality, performance, and secure software delivery.

You will mentor engineers, shape squad design, and collaborate with Product and Architecture teams to deliver practical, scalable solutions that delight customers and colleagues alike.

Qualifications

• Hands-on production experience with C# and ASP.NET.
• Experience with React or similar modern front-end frameworks.
• Azure application services in a production environment.
• SQL Server with performance tuning and diagnostics.
• REST APIs and integrations (e.g. Salesforce).
• Modern engineering practices including testing, CI/CD, and automation.
• Writes and reviews production code regularly.
• Strong technical judgement and quality standards.
• Experience mentoring or leading developers in a team.
• Previous line management experience is essential.

Responsibilities

• Set engineering standards through code you write and review.
• Own technical design for features within your squad.
• Lead, coach, and develop engineers through pairing, feedback, and 1:1s.
• Build high-quality, production-ready software with testing embedded.
• Ensure strong practices across CI/CD, automation, and observability.
• Drive performance, scalability, and security across the lifecycle.
• Collaborate with Product, Delivery, and Architecture teams.
• Contribute to out-of-hours support within your domain.
