Overview

Senior H&S Consultant role at Rider Levett Bucknall RLB in London. Hybrid working available.

Description

Senior Health & Safety professional providing guidance and advice to a range of clients within the public and private sectors, from SMEs to large blue-chip corporate clients. Part of a well-established team of consultants delivering high-quality health and safety guidance.

Key Responsibilities

Act as Principal Designer or Principal Designer Advisor on small to large scale projects.
Conduct audits, including general health and safety compliance and topic-specific audits.
Advise and instruct clients on project team capability, management arrangements and other relevant procedures.
Provide health and safety advice, guidance and training across the client base.
Assist in the completion of PQQ/tendering documents.

Candidate Profile

Qualifications

CertOSH, working towards (or willing to) Chartered membership of IOSH (CMIOSH).
Level 6 health and safety qualification (Level 3 if already chartered in design discipline) desirable.

Experience

Proven experience providing client-side health and safety services within the construction or property industry.
Good experience working under the CDM Regulations, carrying out roles such as CDM Coordinator.
Wide ranging sector experience and working knowledge of large scale/complex projects.
Excellent IT and communication skills.
