Job summary

The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust in Wolverhampton is inviting applications for a Senior Clinical Fellow in Gynaecology Oncology. The post emphasizes gaining additional clinical and operational experience in gynae-oncology, with access to theatre sessions, fast-track clinics, MDT participation, and teaching duties aimed at MRCOG attainment.

The role includes 48-hour EWTD full shift rota commitments, labour ward duties, gynaecology on-call, and participation in research, education and service

Qualifications

• MB BS (or equivalent) and MRCOG are required.
• Full GMC registration is required.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.

Responsibilities

• Support inpatient Obstetrics and Gynaecology at New Cross Hospital.
• Outpatient workload as above.
• Engage in research, education, audit and CPD.
• Take responsibility for continuing professional education per guidelines.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop new ways of working across professions.
• Contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and training.
• Duties include labour ward cover, antenatal/gynaecology clinics and elective operating theatre lists.
• Maintain proper case records and communicate with GPs as required.
