Job description

Role: Senior Guidewire Solutions Engineer

Location: Remote or office-based in the UK (London, Birmingham, Nottingham, Liverpool, Manchester, Scotland)

This is a significant opportunity to help enable, shape, and deliver company-wide transformation. The successful candidate will join a newly forming Guidewire Center of Excellence (CoE) team to help this UK-recognized organization leverage Guidewire to its full potential.

This role offers the opportunity to challenge the status quo, push boundaries, and play a major role during a period of significant change affecting the entire business.

Role Responsibilities:

• Designing and delivering robust, scalable solutions across Guidewire’s digital and core platforms, including Digital (Customer Engage / Vendor Engage), Policy Center, Billing Center, and Claims Center.
• Developing integrations and APIs, with experience across both front-end and back-end development.
• Coaching, leading, and mentoring Guidewire Software Engineers, both in-house and third-party.

Requirements:

• Experience delivering Guidewire solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Experience in architecting, integrating, and designing complex Guidewire solutions.
• Knowledge of Guidewire’s Data Models and SaaS opportunities.
• Hands-on experience in designing and developing integrations and APIs.
• Full stack development experience (front-end and back-end).
• Ability to work remotely within the UK.

This role is suitable for home-based or remote Guidewire technical specialists based anywhere in the UK.
