Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and polished Head Receptionist to oversee our front-of-house operations. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in luxury hotel hospitality, possessing the professionalism, discretion, and customer service excellence to represent our brand and deliver an unparalleled client experience.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the front desk team, ensuring the delivery of exemplary, tailored service to all clients and visitors, emulating five-star hotel standards.
  • Coordinate with various departments to enhance the client experience, including appointments, concierge services, event support as well as servicing rooms and meetings.
  • Maintain a professional, polished appearance and demeanour.
  • Develop and implement service protocols that reflect luxury hospitality standards.
  • Train, mentor, and oversee staff to ensure consistency and excellence in client service.
  • Manage client enquiries efficiently, with attention to detail and a personalised approach.
  • Handle duties related to reception operations, including scheduling, correspondence and reporting and events co-ordination.

Qualifications and skills

  • Proven experience as a Head Receptionist, Front Office Manager, or similar role in a luxury hotel or high-end service environment.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills along with a service mindset.
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Discretion, tact, and confidentiality when dealing with sensitive client information.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain composure and professionalism under pressure.
  • An international outlook and cultural awareness is essential, along with the ability to build relationships from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
  • Knowledge of the financial or banking industry is a plus but not essential.
