We are looking for a Senior Growth Startup & Existing Business Advisor to join our Business Gateway Service within Economic Development. This role is based in Aberdeen, covering Aberdeen City & Shire, and offers a chance to make a significant impact on the local business community. You will create, develop, and manage a portfolio of businesses, along with supporting and managing a small team of business advisors.
As a Senior Growth Startup & Existing Business Advisor, you will play a vital role in driving the success of both new and existing businesses.
Business Gateway Aberdeen City & Shire is delivered by Aberdeenshire Council on behalf of both Aberdeenshire Council & Aberdeen City Council.
There is a responsibility for the post holder to demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organization.
The base location for this role is Woodhill House, with travel throughout Aberdeen City & Aberdeenshire. The role is full-time and permanent; flexible working arrangements can be considered. The work style is hybrid and client-facing, involving a mix of office work, site visits, and home working. A current full driving license and a car are required for this position.
This role may require flexible hours, including evenings and weekends on occasion.
